Sneezing or coughing on foods, or exposing them to infected sores or cuts allows to Staphylococcus aureus to contaminate the foods. A staphylococcus aureus is a round-shape bacteria that is a member of the Firmicutes, and is also frequently found the nose, on the skin, and respiratory tract.
