2.5x + 1.5y = 9.50
x = y - 1
2.5(y - 1) + 1.5y = 9.50
2.5y - 2.5 + 1.5y = 9.50
2.5y + 1.5y = 9.50 + 2.50
4y = 12
y = 12/4
y = 3 <== blueberries cost $ 3 per lb
x = y - 1
x = 3 - 1
x = 2 <== strawberries cost $ 2 per lb
