1. Explain how you can use a strightedge and a compass to construct an angle that is both congruent and adjacent to a given angle.

2. When constructing a perpendicular bisector, why must the compass opening be greater than 1/2 the length of the segment?

3. When constructing an angle bisector, why must the arcs intersect?

1: if u use the same measures they will be congruent angles.
2: because the segment is being cut in half.
3: their has to be an intersection in the arcs
