\bf \begin{array}{ccll} stones&lbs\\ \text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}&\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}\\ (1)/(14)&1\\\\ (3)/(4)&p \end{array}\implies \cfrac{\quad (1)/(14)\quad }{(3)/(4)}=\cfrac{1}{p}\implies \cfrac{1}{14}\cdot \cfrac{4}{3}=\cfrac{1}{p} \\\\\\ \cfrac{2}{21}=\cfrac{1}{p}\implies p=\cfrac{21\cdot 1}{2}\implies p=\cfrac{21}{2}\implies p=10(1)/(2)
