All right,  All you have to remember is a triangle.  In 2 angles of the triangle, add a negative sign.  In the last side, add a positive.  All you have to do now is cover up the 2 sides in your equation, and the uncovered one is your answer.  For example, -1 times -1=???  So you cover up the 2 negative sides, and you are left with a positive.  However, this only works with multiplication and division.  When it comes to subtraction and addition, the answer varies with the number.  Hope this helps.
