The answer would be: y= -2, x=1
4x+y=2 and x-y=3 Also using transitive property-example-1

4x+y=2 so y = -4x + 2
x-y=3 so y = x - 3

-4x + 2 = x - 3
-4x - x = -3 - 2
-5x = -5
x = 1

y = 1 - 3 = -2

answer
(1, -2)
