This exemplifies Sam’s want. The idea of want can be inspected from many perspectives. In secular societies want might be measured as similar to the emotion desire, which can be deliberated scientifically through the disciplines of psychology or sociology. Wants are frequently distinguished from needs. A need is something that is required for survival (for instance food and shelter), while a want is simply something that a person would like to have. In this example, Sam doesn't need a car but he wants to have a car so that his travel will be more convenient and time-saving.
