Answer:

Option C : 7 +(-6) + (2+5)x

Explanation:

Given :7 + 2(x – 3) + 5x

To Find :Which of the steps has an incorrect justification?

Solution :

7 + 2(x -3) + 5x

7 + 2x -6+ 5x

7-6+2x+ 5x

1+7x

So, Option C has an incorrect justification: 7 +(-6) + (2+5)x

Like terms can be added easily there is no need to apply distributive property .

Hence Option C has an incorrect justification
