I believe the answer is 28/160  simplified = 7/40

Answer: 0.175

Explanation:

Let M denotes students takes math and S denotes the students takes science.

As per given , we have


n(M)=90\\\\ n(M\cap S)=62

Then, the Number of students takes only math =
n(M)-n(M\cap S)


=90-62=28

Probability of randomly choosing a student who is taking only math :-


=\frac{\text{Number of students takes only math}}{\text{total students }}\\\\=(28)/(160)=0.175

hence, the required probability =0.175
