What is the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle if each of the two legs is 6 units?

6 squared is 36 both legs must be squared so 36 times 2 is 72. Then you would have to square root the 72. so it is the square root of 72

The hypotenuse of the right triangle would be the square root of 72.

It can't be 6 because the hypotenuse cannot equal the same as the legs

It can't be 36 because then one of the legs would have to be 35.5 in length

It can't be the square root of 12 because that would mean its length is 3.46
