In teams of two (or on your own) you use the Internet and Microsoft Word to gather all the data you would need to build your own PC. Each team will have a preset budget of $1,000 and you must find the prices and description for all the computer components listed below. You will use Microsoft Excel (template included) to create a table that includes the individual price and description of each component. You will also use Excel to calculate your grand total and create a pie chart that will be used to illustrate how much you spent on each component. You will create a presentation of PowerPoint describing and illustrating all of the components of your PC.

The components are listed below that you will need to price. The parts are not listed in order of priority. You will need to prioritize your list.

1. CPU – 1.7 GHZ or better
2. ATX case with 300 watt power supply or better
3. 256 MB of RAM (Minimum)
4. Video Card
5. Sound Card
6. 17” Monitor or better
7. Keyboard
8. Mouse
9. Network Interface Card
10. CD Rom
11. CD Rom – RW
12. 40 GB Hard Drive (Minimum)
13. Windows 7 OS, Windows 8 OS, Windows 10 OS
14. Motherboard

This build doesn't even make sense. That's like an $200 PC. Why would you need $1000 for that? You would have trouble just playing Cool Math with specs like that.
