Are saturated fats underconsumed nutrients ?

Yes and no, saturated fats can be good for you as it helps white blood cells fight off invaders like bacteria, viruses, etc. But also to much saturated fats can lead to weight gain and can put stress on your heart. ( i hope this helps. )
