Under socialism, the government determines the use of resources.

Under socialism, the government decides which goods will be produced, which services will be granted as well the prices of them. In other words the government determines the outputs of a country ruled under this system.

Socialism is an economic and political doctrine or theory under which means of production, exchange of goods and services and distribution should be in hands of the whole community.
