Your work placement is at a bank. You have access to people’s personal accounts. You are aware that a particular neighbour has an account of over $10,000. Your discussion at the dinner table with your parents results from a discussion regarding the payment of a bordering fence in which the neighbour is unwilling to pay their share due to lack of funds.

The confidential issue: (what is it you need to keep secret or private?)
Ethical Dilemma: (what is it you have to decide to do or not to do?)
Your response:
(what would you decide to do and why?)
(why do you think this is a good decision?)

I would have a meeting with the neighbor professionally at the bank and ask them about paying for the fence, without saying anything to the parents, so that the neighbor could not say i broke confidentiality and i could still get results for the fence.
