\bf \cfrac{7+3t}{4}=-\cfrac{t}{8}\impliedby \textit{first off cross-multiply} \\\\\\ 8(7+3t)=4(-t)\implies 56+24t=-4t\implies 24t+4t=-56 \\\\\\ 28t=-56\implies t=-\cfrac{56}{28}\implies t=-2
