Which statement describes how a decrease in the number of decomposers would most likely affect an ecosystem?

if the world had a less number of decomposers it could mess up the ecosystem because the soil wouldn't be as great which would make less plants grow which would make less homes for animals that live in trees, etc and would also effect the food for animals who dont eat meat.
