Many farmers use pesticides, which are chemicals that kill insects and help increase the productivity of crops. one such pesticide, ddt is now illegal because it was too effective. it not only killed insects, but also killed predatory animals of insects, like birds, and entered the food chain and affected humans. why do you think that the fda banned the use of ddt?

They probably banned ddt because ddt is supposed to be for insects but it was killing birds then spread to humans that's dangerous
