In many Latin American cities, in the so-called '' Glorietas '', among the circular avenues (on the Periferico or beltway highway), statues of revolutionary heroes, heroes of Mexican Independence, or respectable politicians or memorable; also the statues of presidents are accustomed, but when the political party changes, then of the statues they change and they put up of new illustrious personages. In general they are statues of important Mexicans, and of outstanding politicians or revolutionaries.
