What evidence supports the fact that learning was important in the arab muslim empire?

Education was embodied in the empire due to the fact that the scripture of the Koran and the study of Islamic beliefs was a core and central practice for early Arabs. Schools were often attached to mosques and this facilitated education at an early age. The Koran itself teaches about the importance of education in some of its scriptures.
