An expression using a base and an exponent is called power.
Factors are two or more numbers that are multiplied together to form a product. The exponent tells how many times the base is used as a factor.
A power of two, for example means a number of the form 2^n, where n is an integer. The result is exponentiation with number two as the base and integer n as the exponent.
