It will travel 6.7 times farther, as the light is moving for 6.7 seconds versus 1. Therefore, you must do 3 *
10^(5) * 6.7 which is 2.01 *
10^(6) in scientific notation.

scientific notation is
a*10^b where 1≤a<10 and b is an integer

use commutaive property of multiplication and associative property
ab=ba and a(bc)=(ab)c
and

(x^m)(x^n)=x^(m+n)

so

3*10^5 times 6.7=

3*6.7*10^5=

20.1*10^5=

2.01*10^1*10^5=

2.01*10^6

the answer is
2.01*10^6
