Greetings!

x/8=-4
Multiply both sides by 8.

(x/8)*8=(-4)*8
Simplify.

x=-32

Hope this helps.

Do -4•8 and you will get -32. X=-32
How you get it is you can trying to get x alone so since it is x divide by 8 you do the opposite which is multiply. So you multiply 8 to both to cancel out the 8 on the x side. Hope this helps!
