Step 1. Simplify -2 + 2 to 0


4n-40=7*0

Step 2.
Simplify 7 * 0 to 0


4n-40=0

Step 3. Add 40 to both sides


4n=40

Step 4.
Divide both sides by 4


n= (40)/(4)

Step 5.
Simplify
(40)/(4) to 10


n=10
