1. The rule (x, y) →(x-1, y+2) means that every point of the original figure, must be shifted 1 unit left, and 2 units up. Check the picture.

2. The rule (x, y)→ (x, -y) means that every point of the original figure is reflected with respect to the x-axis.

A(7, 4) becomes A'(7, -4)

B(6, 8) becomes B'(6, -8)

C(2, 3) becomes C'(2, -3)

The transformations are: 1 translation 2 units right, followed by a reflection across the y-axis.
