x intercept is where the line crosses the x axis or where y=0
y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis or where x=0

x intercept
set y=0
4x-3y=12
4x-3(0)=12
4x=12
divide by 4
x=3

the x intercept is 3

y intercept
set x=0
4x-3y=12
4(0)-3y=12
-3y=12
divide by -3
y=-4

the y intercept is -4

x intercept: 3
y intercept: -4

answer is first one
