combine 3x+3 and -2-12
that would make it 9x=-14
then you divide 9 from both sides
x= -14/9

3x+3=-2-12
Combine the -2 and -12 and it'll get you:
3x+3=-14
Then combine like terms on both sides (subtract 3 on both sides):
3x= -17
Then divide 3x from both sides:
-5.66 (repeating decimal)
