Answer:

n_(H_2)=8.436x10^(-8)molH_2

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello,

In this case, since hydrogen gas is diatomic, H₂, and 1 mole is related with 6.022x10²³ molecules, the moles are computed below via dimensional analysis:

n_(H_2)=5.080x10^(16)molecH_2*(1molH_2)/(6.022x10^(23)molecH_2) \\n_(H_2)=8.436x10^(-8)molH_2

Best regards.

The relation of moles to molecules can be known through the Avogadro’s number. Take note that one mole of any substance is equal to 6.02 x 10^23 molecules. Thus in converting 5.080 x 10^16 molecules of hydrogen to moles, just divide it with the Avogadro’s number. The answer would be 8.44 x 19^-8 moles.
