Now we have y3⋅y4=(y⋅y⋅y)⋅(y⋅y⋅y⋅y) How many times is y being multiplied by itself here? 20 pts

Hello There Mate!

Simply count how many y's there are:
It is 7.
Or add the exponents since when they are multiplied you add them:

y^(3) + y^(4) = y^(7)

y^3 * y^4 = y^(3 + 4) = y^7.....so it is being multiplied by itself 7 times
