a^2+2.1^2=2.9

Convert decimal to fraction
a^2+(21/10)^2=2.9
Use exponent rules
a^2+441/100=2.9
Move constant to the right
a^2=2.9-441/100
Calculate
a^2=-151/100
This equation has no solution.
