This was when America bailed out Germany some money so that it could be able to repay the damage that it had caused through the War. In this plan, Germany was to manufacture and pay the Americans in due time. In addition, the great depression was caused by the drought that caused agricultural produce to decrease. In this speech, Roosevelt is calming the people. He said that people had nothing to fear except the fear itself and that everything would eventually work out.
