How do you find f(2x) when you know f(x) = x^3?

How do you find f(2x) when you know f(x) = x^3?-example-1

To find the answer, you just plug 2x in place of x (even though 2x already has an x). It would look something like this: f(2x)= (2x)^3 = 2x*2x*2x= 8x^3
