We are given two functions

B(x) = 2x + 5 and h(x) = -2x - 4

Find b(3) + h(3)

These two functions are x dependent

B(x) = 2x + 5

B(3), this means replace x with 3

B(3) = 2(3) + 5

b(3) = 6 + 5

B(3) = 11

Same process applicable to the second function

h(x) = -2x - 4

h(3) = -2(-3) - 4

h(3) =
