A + L * W
A = 72
L = W + 6

72 = W(W + 6)
72 = W^2 + 6W
W^2 + 6W - 72 = 0
(W + 12)(W - 6) = 0

W + 12 = 0
W = -12...not this because it is negative

W - 6 = 0
W = 6 <=== width is 6 cm

L = W + 6
L = 6 + 6
L = 12 cm...length is 12 cm

The answer is C, because 6*2= 12 and to get to 72 the closet answer is 6
