42/120 = x / 320...42 bus riders to 120 ppl = x bus riders to 320 ppl
cross multiply
(120)(x) = (42)(320)
120x = 13440
x = 13440/120
x = 112 <===

or u can also do it this way...
42/120 = 0.35 = 35%....so 35% took the bus
35% of 320 = 0.35(320) = 112 <=
