that would be 4 1/8 divided by 2 1/6

= 33/8 / 13/6 = 33/8 * 6/13 = 33/4 * 3/13 = 99/52

= 1 47/52 tons per acre. Answer.

Answer: There are 2.53 tons per acre.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of tons of gravel is spread =
4(1)/(8)=(33)/(8)\ tons

Number of acres =
2(1)/(6)=(13)/(6)\ acres

So, Number of tons of gravels on each acre is given by

((33)/(8))/((13)/(8))\\\\=(33)/(13)\\\\=2.53\ tons/acres

Hence, there are 2.53 tons per acre.
