volume=side^3

remember

(ab)^c=(a^c)(b^c)
and

(a^b)^c=a^(bc)

each side is
3c^6d^2
so the volume is
(3c^6d^2)^3
which is

(3)^2(c^6)^3(d^2)^3=

(9)(c^(18))(d^6)=

9c^(18)d^6

the volume is
9c^(18)d^6
