A particular model rocket kit uses the scale 1:144. The actual rocket is 168 ft tall. How tall will the model rocket be when completed? PLZ PLZ HELP

Our basis is the given ratio of 1:44. The actual rocket is obviously larger than the model rocket. Thus, it means that for every 44 ft of the actual rocket, the scale of the model rocket would be 1 ft. Through ratio and proportion, the solution is as follows:

1/44 = x/168
x = 3.818 ft

The height of the model rocket, is approximately 3.8 ft.
