The word "difference" means "subtract" so B. Wouldn't be B. Because it's adding. This leaves us with A,C, and D
For A. It's a positive one (so this can't be your answer)
For D the negative one is in the front
The question isn't asking the different -1 and -12
So, this leaves us with option C as your answer
