solving 8n-3(n-4)
=8n-3n+12 (multiply -3 to n and -4)
=5n+12
we got 14+3n=5n+12

now subtract 5n to both sides
3n-5n=-2n and on the right side cross out 5n from the right side because 5n-5n=0

we got 14+-2n=-12

subtract 14 to both sides ( cross out 14 from the left side and subtract it to -12

we got -2n=-26

divide -2 to both sides

so the answer =13

N = 1 or 2n = 2

8n -3n + 12 = 3n + 14
5n + 12 = 3n + 14
2n = 2
N = 2
