What is the Pythagorean theorem? First person to put the theorem gets the prize.

The simple way to put this is the following:

A squared plus B squared equals C squared. This only works on right triangles, meaning there is a 90 degree angle.

the length of any right angled triangle's hypotenuse is the square root of the squares of the other two sides.
a^2+b^2=c^2
