the atomic mass of chlorine is 35.45 amu which is the average mass of chlorine atom, as chlorine have isotopes. chlorine-35 and chlorine-37 are the isotopes of the chlorine. The atomic mass 35.45 is the average mass when we calculate the masses of all isotope of chlorine.
