Cerebral cortex is the area of human cortex that is different from the brains of other animals. Cerebral cortex functions is responsible for the thinking and taking in information in order to make a necessary action based on the perception that it receives. Cerebral cortex are divided into 4 lobes with a different function namely; frontal, temporal, parietal and occipital which are converts the sensory information that you receive.
