In Colonial Society was a society with a pyramid shape in which every person belonged to strictly defined class. The social life and contacts were all be with people from a similar social class. The highest class were people who were the most powerful and wealthy people in the colonies.
Three ways colonial society differed from modern day society are:
1. In the modern society there are no strictly defined classes.
