2x + y = 7 is an eqn of a straight liney = -2x +7with a slope of -2, and an intercept of 7 the table is for a straight line with a positive slope of 2found from e.g using the first two points in the table: (1 - -1)/(-3 -  -4) = 2and an intercept of 7y = 2x + 7 or-2x + y = 7
