To graph a linear function find three points on it and use them to draw it

f(x)=(1)/(3)x+2

Let us use x = -3, 0, 3

At x = -3

\begin{gathered} f(-3)=(1)/(3)(-3)+2 \\ f(-3)=-1+2 \\ f(-3)=1 \end{gathered}

The first point is (-3, 1)

let us use x = 0

\begin{gathered} f(0)=(1)/(3)(0)+2 \\ f(0)=0+2 \\ f(0)=2 \end{gathered}

The second point is (0, 2)

Let us use x
