A rectangle has twice the area of a square. The rectangle is 18in by 4in. What is the perimeter of the square?

18*4 = 72 (finding the area of the rectangle)

72/2 = 36 (finding the area of the square)

√36 = 6 (finding one side of the square)

6*4 = 24 (finding the perimeter)

The perimeter is 24in,
