Max Weber argued that we need to understand the meanings that people give to their actions and ideas. Do you agree or disagree with Weber? Why or why not?

I agree because if no one had a reason as to why they did the idea, how would we have known how to do it ourselves.

Answer:

Agree

Step-by-step explanation:

Max Weber was profoundly concerned on the inner motivations for social action. He identifies 4 categories to explain all social action.

According to his methodology, he sets a series of principles that help to gain the most insight to actions and ideas.

I agree since Weber was mere than a superficial observant , which had enourmous interest on social, laboral, and human aspects of life.

He wrote a series of works that help us gain deep comprehension, (Verstehen) which means being able to understand motivations and ideas behind any group or individual. He strongly convinces sometimes it is worthy to seek answers for the Whys in Social Science.

Personally I consider him one of my favorite authors.
