U flip the regular slope and change it to negative since its perpendicular so it would be -4/3

y = 3/4x - 6....the slope of this line is 3/4. A perpendicular line will have a negative reciprocal slope. To find the negative reciprocal of a number, u flip the number and change the sign. So our perpendicular line will have a slope of -4/3 (see how I flipped 3/4 making it 4/3....and then change the sign...making it -4/3)

so the slope of the perpendicular line is -4/3
