If f(x)=2 (x)^2+5√(x+2) what is the domian

Note that there is no real square root of a negative number so (x +2) must be greater or equal to 0.

When x + 2 = zero x = -2

So the domain is x>= -2 or in interval notation:

[-2, ∞)
