Consider the absolute value function f(x)=-|x+2|-2

a. (2,-2)
b. (-2,2)
c. (-2,-2)
d. (2,2)

the absolute value brackets makes the inside expression always positive.

if you try some of the numbered pairs, you'll see that x must be -2.
-2 = -|2+2| - 2
-2 does not equal -4 - 2

the only numbered pair that works in the function is (-2,-2)
